Photo hoodie: should you print or embroider it?

1. What a photo print produces

Garment printing applies a coloured design to the fabric. Photos, solid areas, gradients and lettering are handled differently depending on the printing process. The garment, print method and care all affect the final result.

Choose printing when the photo itself should remain visible, such as a landscape, collage, colourful logo or any design whose impact depends strongly on colour and shading.

2. What outline embroidery produces

3. Which method suits which subject?

A colourful group photo with an important background generally points towards printing. Two people in a clear pose, a dog with distinctive ears or the side profile of a car can work very well as an outline.

4. Compare before ordering

Do not compare only the starting price. Check the garment material, available sizes, artwork position and area, production time, delivery to Switzerland and the terms for personalised goods.

Also check whether you receive a preview or approval and how the uploaded photo is handled. Amorli shows the offered options on each product page; reference images remain private and are automatically deleted no later than 30 days after upload.
